At Dover, Women's Ministry is about getting real and going deep with a group of women who share life and faith with each other. If you're looking for authentic community, you'll find it here.
Why join a women's ministry? We know that in today’s busy culture it is so easy to become dry and parched, but we also know where to go to get refreshed! You are invited to develop new and deeper friendships, discover new ways to be equipped through God’s word, find opportunities to share your faith, pursue active global involvement, and acquire encouragement and motivation in prayer.
We pray that you will be refreshed as you participate in Women’s Ministries at Dover. We pray that you will grow spiritually and develop long lasting relationships with other women who are thirsting for the same Living Water found only in Jesus! Questions? Around October to November, we collect items, package them, and send them to children around the world. For many of these children, this will be their only Christmas gift. This is an outreach to demonstrate the love of Christ to children all over the world. Please consider donating personal items, school supplies, toys and art supplies. Toothpaste and candy are not allowed. We will also be collecting shoeboxes, so here is your chance to de-clutter your closet!
Share the joy of Christmas with an underprivileged international child this year by filling a shoe box with small treasures. To participate: (1) Grab a box from the narthex to fill with items for a boy or a girl in one of these age groups: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. (2) Also pick up a copy of the brochure “How to Pack a Shoe Box” in which you’ll find all the info you need to make your box perfect for your child. (3) Bring the box back to Dover with a $9 donation to cover shipping and other project costs by Sunday, November 22, placing it below our community mailboxes.
