My Offering Card

    In Leviticus chapters 1-7, we find 5 major offerings that God required of the Children of Israel.  Because each of them was perfectly fulfilled through Jesus Christ, these offerings are no longer required.  However, as Jesus and the New Testament writers make clear, the concept and practice of giving offerings remains central to a Christian's walk of faith.  In simplest terms, an offering symbolizes a person's submission to the will of God.  Today we often associate our "giving of an offering" to money alone.  However, there are many additional things one might "offer to God."  We can offer Him our: burdens, pain, time, dreams, gratitude, praise, service, lives, obedience, weaknesses, etc...  What is He calling you to offer today?
