Tim Poferl | Senior Pastor
Tim and Judy Poferl moved to Orange City in June of 2018. Tim has served in full-time ministry with the Christian and Missionary Alliance for over 25-years. Before coming to Orange City, they served in churches in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Iowa.
They both attended Crown College in Minnesota, and were married following graduation. They then attended Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY.
They have three children and they enjoy spending time with family and friends, entertaining, walking their dogs, sports, reading a good book, or watching a movie.
Tim and Judy consider Robert L. Niklaus (Judy’s father), among their “Heroes of the faith.”
Tim’s life ministry verse comes from Colossians 1:28-29, “He is the One we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. 29 To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.”
