Description- Detours… what thoughts or emotions get stirred up when you come across one unexpectedly? Detours, however, are not just a sign on the road we may be traveling. There are spiritual detours as well, often placed in our lives by God. When they come, how we respond is critical. Detours are necessary if any improvements are going to be made on the paths we travel. These detours are designed for our own good, regardless of how we view or feel about them. In this study you’ll have opportunity gain clarity into life’s detours. Join Dr. Tony Evans as he examines the life of Joseph and the many detours God placed in his path. It is through this study you will find comfort and guidance on how to recognize, sustain, and grow while on these detours in order for you to reach God’s destiny—not your destiny, but God’s. Selected passages from Genesis 37-50 and other scriptures will be read in this study.
