SENIOR PASTOR
Joined the Team: 2025
What I Do: I am the lead elder and pastor of the church, and I have the privilege of serving some of the greatest people on planet earth! Because we are an elder-led church, I am one of several men who shepherd the people at Dover. That means we lead the people of God, feed them the Word of God, protect them from evil, and care for them as they go through all the challenges of life. I also lead and guide the wonderful staff that are listed here on this page!
Family: I am married to the most amazing woman named Paula, who is probably the best encourager that I have ever met. Together we raised 3 wonderful children in Spain, where we served for over 20 years. We also have 2 grandchildren who are keeping us young and humbled!
​Just for Fun: I love most any sport, but especially basketball and football. Just being with family and playing board games or watching a movie brings me great joy! But I’ll admit that being a grandpa and investing in grandkids and the next generation is one of my favorite things to do!

WORSHIP LEADER
Joined the Team: 2024

What I Do: I have been the worship coordinator for several years here at Dover. I also play keyboard/piano and sing. 
Family: I am married to Jon Groskreutz (which in German means "large cross"). We have 8 boys and 1 girl, and grandchildren!
​Just for Fun: I love to run, bike, swim, hike, pickleball, and read! Fun fact about me is I LOVE watermelon​

FINANCIAL SECRETARY
Joined the team: 2003
What I Do: I maintain day-to-day financial records, process accounts payable, as well as offerings, and assist in internal reporting. 
Family: Originally from Germany, I moved to the United States to marry my husband, Mike. We have two children and enjoy traveling as a family.​
Just for Fun: In addition to spending time with family and friends, I enjoy walking and reading.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Joined the Team: 2020
What I Do: I manage the weekly office needs, organize church schedules, assist our pastoral staff with daily scheduling and administrative tasks, and help with congregational needs.
Family: I am the youngest of 5 and am very close to my family. I got married to a wonderful man, Robert Vine, on July 4th, 2017. I have two wonderful daughters here on earth and one son growing up in heaven. We homeschool our kids and love spending time at the pool in the summer months. 
Just for Fun: I moved here from Montana in 2018. I love reading, coloring, and drinking coffee.

YOUTH LEADERS
Joined the Team: 2025
What We Do: We are the head youth leaders at Dover. We loved having youth over at our house for youth group this past year. We are excited to be leading youth group now in the new youth room at Dover! Lincoln also drums on the Worship team, and Saydie helps with Children's ministry.
Family: Lincoln is originally from Wyoming and moved to Orange City for college. Lincoln is currently a high school history teacher at Cherokee Washington High School in Cherokee, Iowa. Saydie is originally from Minnesota and graduated from Dordt University. Saydie is currently volunteering at Dover, helping with children's ministry and leading youth group. We met in college and got married on June 15th 2024. We now live in the Dover West parsonage. 
Just for Fun: We lived in a camper for the first 2 months of our marriage. We love hosting people at our house for bible studies, dinners, and bonfires. Lincoln loves reading historical fiction and deep conversation, and Saydie loves hanging out with kids.
