Get Connected at Dover Church

You might be new to the 'church thing' or may have been a Christian for some time. No matter where you are at on your spiritual journey, there is a place for you at Dover Church. Below you will find four key ways to get connected and begin or continue developing a deeper relationship with God and with others.

1. Attend a worship service:  Our weekend service is a great way to get an idea of what Dover is about, what we value and who we are. We would love to have you join our church family for a few week or as your permanent church home. Our Sunday morning service begins weekly at 10:30 a.m. If you're interested in expanding your Sunday morning horizons, join us for Sunday School before the service at 9:00 a.m. Also, check the calendar to see when our next monthly evening service will be held!

2. Get involved:  Once you begin participating in Dover ministries, it's hard not to get involved! Our church believes in using our gifts for the glory of God while pouring out love on the lives of others. From teaching Sunday School, helping in the nursery, singing or playing an instrument during Sunday services, chaperoning a youth mission trip or volunteering your time by changing lightbulbs, there are countless ways to get involed at Dover. Meet others like you who are serving as well! For more information, contact the church office (712)737-8442.

3. Participate in a community group:  We believe the best way for people to truly grow closer to God and with others is within the context of a community group. These small groups meet weekly or bi-weekly to study the Bible, share experiences and develop authentic relationships all while having a great time together! We have several groups at various life-stages meeting at different times during the week. Visit the Community Groups page under the "ministry" link on our website for more information or contact Pastor Dennis to find a community group right for you.

4. Attend a weekly event at Dover:  From women's Bible studies, seasonal men's gatherings, Awana clubs for the kids, youth group meetings for young adults, crafting nights, Sunday evening celebration gatherings and much more - come join us at Dover during the week and see what activities our church is involved in. See the ministries page for details regarding each of the above opportunities or visit the calendar page for upcoming events! We want to open our doors to you in hopes of helping our church and the community grow into a deeper walk with God.
