"How We Love"

This class is for married couples.  In their book How We Love, relationship experts Milan and Kay Yerkovich explain why the ways you and your spouse relate to each other go back to before you even met. Drawing on the powerful tool of attachment theory, Milan and Kay explore how your childhood created an “intimacy imprint” that affects your marriage today. Their stories and practical ideas help you:
* identify your personal love style
* understand how your early life impacts you and your spouse
* break free from painful patterns that keep you stuck
* find healing for the source of conflict, not just the symptoms
* create the close, nourishing relationship you dream about
Revised throughout with all-new material, additional visual diagrams, and a revised accompanying workbook, this expanded edition of How We Love will bring vibrant life to your marriage. Are you ready for a new journey of love?

"Prayers of the Patriarchs- Encounters with the God Who is There"

We will begin as the Bible opens in the Garden with the introduction of prayer.  We will study prayers by men and women, like Abraham, Moses, and Hannah who wrestle with God in prayer to understand his will and ways.  Their struggles and faith will illumine our path to connect with God.  God wishes all his own to understand and enjoy this privileged, yet mysterious act called prayer

"Going to the Next Level: Developing a Personal Growth Plan"

This 12-session class divides into two parts: Part I: Learning to Abide and Part II: Developing a Personal Growth Plan.  The first three chapters of our study look at Paul’s letter to the Ephesians where we will learn who we are in Christ.  In chapters four to six, he begins to lay out for us what living such a life looks like.  This class intends to help each of us learn how to join the Holy Spirit in this transformational work that God desires to do in our lives as we are transformed (more and more) into the image of Christ (2 Cor. 3:17-18).
Location: Room 230 (Youth Room)
